The poster highlights two Horizon Europe projects that the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi) is currently a partner: RRI Leaders; and, Path2Integrity. In RRI Leaders, this involves a multi-stage co-creation process (RRI-AIRR) to achieve transformative territorial changes with 4 Helix stakeholders. For the Catalan partners, this means exploring – and improving – how RRI is being integrated in Smart Specialization, specifically on active ageing, the circular economy and innovation in design.
For Path2Integrity, nearing its end, showcased will be its results. These are highly attractive tools and contents for use by young researchers, undergraduates, graduates, and by university teachers for integrating the RRI principle of ethics in carrying out research.
The poster’s main talking point is about how Research Managers can become more empowered with RRI-rooted knowledge so that they can help their Researchers and Groups present highly competitive proposals in Horizon Europe, especially excelling in the new “pathways to impact” part.
Questions, resources, and a set of sandbox toys for Research Managers are meant to inspire managers to contribute their own unique talents in both proposal consultancy servives as well as institutional capacity-building on RRI. How? This, too, will be open for discussion.
